I am honored to have the Protest Posters I created and carried in the 2017 and 2018 Chicago Women’s Marches included in the show Well Behaved Women: 100 Years of Suffragist Art at the Lubeznik Center for the Arts in Michigan City, Indiana. It runs through October 23. This show is wonderfully curated by Janet Bloch, these photos are from the socially distanced opening on July 3rd and only feature a handful of the fabulous works - shown here: mine and Cathi Schwalbe's fab posters from a multitude of protests, also shown below: Melissa Blount telling us about her poignant work, and powerful photos from Whitney Bradshaw 's Outcry installation. Well-Behaved Women: Celebrating 100 Years of Women’s Suffrage is comprised of artworks by 23 women artists in order to celebrate the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, which gave women and men equal voting rights.
