Bio + Statement
Anne's artistic journey spans over two and a half decades, during which she has explored various mediums including traditional painting and drawing, digital media, journaling, and ceramics. She has achieved success in licensing her designs for stationery and home decor products, and her artwork has been exhibited nationally and featured in books, movies, TV shows, and magazines. Her pieces can be found in private collections all over the world.
Anne's passion for sketchbook journaling has been a constant throughout her artistic career. Her daily practice of combining words and images to document her life and learning has not only provided inspiration for her other creative endeavors but has also been a transformative tool for personal growth and wellness. Through her live and online courses, she shares the benefits of sketchbook journaling with others and empowers them to connect with their own creativity and explore their own stories and dreams in a deeper way - all the while documenting their own lives.
Anne also shares her unique sketchbook process on travel trips to locations such as Italy, Greece, and the South of France. Her upcoming trip to the South of France in fall 2023 promises to help students to immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of the Cote D’Azur while exploring creativity and learning to capture their trip in a visual travelogue.

STATEMENT
I’m a playful artist and creative self-discovery coach obsessed with making art, healing, spirituality (not religion) and teaching the transformative MAGIC of Sketchbook Journaling!
I've been on a healing journey for a long time - mostly under the radar, especially with spirituality and self-discovery as I have worked hard over the last 10 years and continue to explore my own healing and growth. I have a deep love for teaching and sharing my personal journey along with the valuable insights and modalities learned from a community of incredible mentors and healers. Self expression and self love can save the world…one sketchbook page at a time! Haha..but I am serious and believe our high vibrational energy and fearless living can make all the difference in the world, or at least in YOUR OWN WORLD.

Process / Studio
My processes are varied depending on the project. My daily sketchbooks are the core of my practice, I use digital illustration for much of my design work. My general painting portfolio consists of images I create with acrylics on wood panels, stretched canvas or cardboard in my studio.
In more recent years I’ve developed two new painting series: Freak Show (a riff off vintage circus sideshow banners paired with the physical and emotional realities of middle age) and Paintings on Glass. I’ve also kept a random series of drawings in my used up hardcover sudoku books called Sudoku Scribbles. Those things, of course, in addition to my daily sketchbook pages.
