I'm so excited to tell you about my new partnership with We Love Kids N Dogs and Neeman Barkus, based in Okemos, Michigan. We met at the Windy City Pet Expo back in July, they were exhibiting with their new Poochie Bowl, a genius invention inspired by their dearly departed Basset Hound, Scooter - it's oval shaped so those long ears don't get in the bowl - 'the dry ear' bowl! We've discussed some exciting possibilities for 2015...stay tuned! And if you live near the Meridian Mall in Okemos, get over there - their current Basset, Dudley, is often working at the store, I know he would love to meet you!

...it's 9:49pm and, yes, I'm still working! This is truly the most exhausting, but fun and exciting, time of the year for my business. I'm really happy with how my booth turned out. I winged it this year, brought less shelving, etc. I like it, it looks cleaner. Less is more. Hope to see some of you lovely people at the fabulous One of a Kind Show over the next 4 days! You haven't heard from me much this summer...but I've been plenty busy! In lieu of doing a myriad of outdoor artfairs I've been busy developing a Wholesale Line of Gift Items for Stores and Pet Boutiques. I showcased much of this new work at the Chicago Gift Market at the Merchandise Mart in July, and have many new products in the works since then. I love doing these shows, designing my booth, sharing new work with potential clients and meeting so many other lovely designers and makers. It was a blast, here's some before and after shots:
